Service and Power Audit Provider

WHY POWER QUALITY AUDIT IS IMPORTANT??

YOU MUST TAKE CARE OF YOUR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM –

  • For efficient and smooth running of the system
  • For protection of your electrical equipments from damage
  • For increasing life of your electrical equipment
  • For protection from any electrical hazards in future
  • For reduction of your electricity bills

POOR POWER QUALITY CAN LEAD TO –

  • VOLTAGE FLUCTUATIONS
  • EQUIPMENT DAMAGE
  • TEMPERATURE RISE IN CABLE ,MOTORS ETC.
  • LOSS OF ENERGY
  • DEGRADATION OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
  • SHORT CIRCUITS

AND MANY MORE ISSUES…

YOU MAY NOT BE AWARE OF ISSUE S YOU ARE FACING IN YOUR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM DUE TO POOR POWER QUALITY

DIAGNOSIS OF POWER QUALITY IS IMPORTANT FOR-

  • EQUIPMENT SAFETY
  • OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY
  • AS WELL AS ENERGY LOSSES

What we do during the Power Quality Audit:

Inspection of the Electrical System,

Use of equipment’s to detect problems,

Detection of any specific issues relating to Power quality,

We Will point out the level of PQ problem and its effect on the Electrical Systems.

COST OF POOR POWER QUALITY

  • INCREASE IN MAINTENANCE COST DUE TO EQUIPMENT FAILURES
  • INCREASE IN PRODUCTION COST AND TIME OVERRUN
  • INCREASE IN ENERGY COST DUE TO ADDITIONAL LOSSES
  • RMS VOLTAGE VARIATIONS (VOLTAGE REGULATION)
  • RMS CURRENT AVAILABLE TO THE LOAD (SOURCE TRANSFORMER)
  • VOLTAGE SAGS AND SURGES (#1 CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS)
  • TRANSIENT VOLTAGE (MAXIMUM VPK) EQUIPMENT DAMAGE
  • TRANSIENT CURRENT (MAXIMUM IPK) FROM THE LOAD (OVERLOAD)
  • VOLTAGE DISTORTION (HARMONICS, INTERHARMONICS) RS
  • CURRENT DISTORTION (HARMONICS, INTERHARMONICS) RS
  • VOLTAGE AND CURRENT (IMBALANCE, UNBALANCE) RS
  • VOLTAGE RMS VARIATION (FLICKER)
  • MEASUREMENT
    • IEC 61000-4-7 VOLTAGE FLICKER
    • IEC 61000-4-15 HARMONIC MEASUREMENT
    • IEC 61000-4-30 MEASUREMENT ACCURACY (“CLASS A”, “CLASS S”)
    • IEC 62052/3-11, 22, 23 ENERGY ACCURACY (“CLASS 0.2S”, “CLASS 0.5S”)
  • POWER QUALITY
    • BS:EN 50160:IN USE WORLDWIDE, IN FAVOR OF THE UTILITIES, VOLTAGE ONLY, STATISTICAL STANDARD
    • IEEE 519 AND IEEE 1159: AMERICAN STANDARDS, PRACTICAL POINT OF VIEW.

Where the study shall be conducted:

Power Quality inspection is done at the main HT/LT Panel where the power enters your facility.

It is carried on to the various electrical feeders.

Also covers the load end.

It is not possible to detect any loose connections or Rusting issues inside electrical panel cables, bus bars, distribution boards and other areas within the electrical system by visual inspection.

Use of highly efficient thermal camera done to capture hot spots.
